Most women at some point seem to get stuck in the same old handbag rut.  Not that the handbags we have been carrying are bad, but we seek out the SAME STYLE or  SAME COLOR over and over again.  I admit, that was me, afraid to try a trendier bag or a brighter colored purse.  Then I asked myself why?  I ADMIRE other women that do.  Then I realized handbags are the RISK FREE fashion accessory, they don't make you look 10 pounds heavier, they will never show too much skin, and no one will ever say "She's too old to be carrying that bag".  When I finally liberated myself from my personal handbag rut,  I began selling handbags on ebay.  My eyes were suddenly open to all the new exciting possibilities.  So now I am trying to make up for lost time.  (My husband and son say I am obsessed with purses.)

Handbags are actually the perfect way to add new trends to update your wardrobe without the risk.  If you just want to test the waters and not go all the way bling or jungle crazy, they are plenty of handbags at reasonable prices that incorporate recent trends without going too far out of your comfort zone.  Try to pick a handbag that has some distinquishing features, something that makes you smile and feel special.  You carry your handbag everyday, it's like your best friend so it should be something special.
